Valentine Industries strives to be a good corporate citizen. We feel it is our duty to be aware of the impact our activities have on the personal health and well-being of our employees, the community in which they live, and the greater global community from which we draw our clientele and the resources required to manufacture our products. It is our policy to manufacture and deliver our products in a manner that complies with all legal regulations, and further, to incorporate the technical developments and opportunities available to continually lessen our impact on the environment.

Our environmental strategies are divided into three segments: Products, Manufacturing, and Packaging.

WORK SURFACES
Substrate Material
​
Standard Particleboard
100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber particle board. Particleboard is at least 90% wood fiber by weight.
​
Meets California Air Resources Board (CARB) Regulation 93120.2 emissions limits.
​
No Added urea-formaldehyde (NAUF).
​
MDF / HDF
Valentine Woodworks uses Glacier Green MDF for all RTF work surfaces.
​
100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber particle board.
​
The Composite Panel Association (CPA) & Environmentally Preferred Product Standard (EPP) is 0.2 ppm or below.
​
Meets California Air Resources Board (CARB) Regulation 93120.2 emissions limits.

High Pressure Laminate (HPL)
Wilsonart, Formica, Nevamar, and Pionite laminates are GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified.

RTF (Rigid Thermal Foil) or (foil)
Our Omnova ECO-Friendly 3D film is: Non-PVC, No plasticizers, and has no phthalates.

Marmoleum; Linoleum, manufactured by Forbo Linolem
Allergen free, non-petroleum base, biodegradable material

Manufactured from 33% rapidly renewable resource including linseed oil, limestone, cork flour, rosin jute and organic pigments.

2.) MANUFACTURING
Valentine Indsutries products are made using lean manufacturing techniques throughout the manufacturing process, reducing waste, materials, space and energy.

3.) PACKAGING
Products are placed on pallets, corrugated cardboard, stretch wrap and banded for shipment. Pallets and corrugated cardboard are 100% recyclable
